Aircraft Spirals Out of Control into Palm Trees at Frequented Southern California Coast
A helicopter hovering near a well-attended coastal coastline unexpectedly commenced twirling wildly, finally descending rapidly and crashing into a line of palm fronds as beachgoers watched.
Footage posted on the internet capture the aircraft commencing to spiral above the shoreline then descending near the border of the shore, where it gets stuck amidst palm trees and a steps near the shoreline route.
Rescue Operation Information
The Huntington Beach fire department stated five people were transported to a medical facility involving a pair who were in the helicopter and were “extracted safely from the crash site” subsequent to the accident on Saturday.
Three individuals on the pavement were hurt. Specifics on their condition were still under review.
The cause of the crash was not immediately released.
