The Prince of Wales is scheduled to attend the COP30 climate summit in Brazil during November, as confirmed by royal officials.

The father and son duo appeared together on Thursday evening at a reception ahead of the environmental conference, which is planned for in the northern Brazilian city of Belém.

The King and Prince were in attendance at the scientific institution event, marking an noteworthy combined presence at a environmental conference preliminary meeting organized in partnership with the UK government.

Environmental Advocacy Commitment

The King has been a consistent supporter of protecting nature - and Prince William has taken on the baton, with his own environmental prize initiative, which will be hosted in Rio ahead of the COP summit.

Palace insiders have described William's involvement at the forthcoming conference as stepping up an important role in "environmental negotiations".

The monarch and his heir, making a joint entrance in the state Bentley, were greeted attendees such as environmentalists, researchers, environmental activists, foreign representatives and government officials.

The COP30 summit will align with the the royal's Earthshot environmental awards, which will finish in the Brazilian city the eve of he attends the COP summit on the sixth of November.
